Cristiano Ronaldo has surpassed Ferenc Puskas after bettering the Real Madrid legend's goal scoring record by a single goal.
The Portuguese's Champions League hat-trick against Galatasaray took his total to an incredible 206 goals in 204 games - compared to the 1960s icon's 205 goals from the same number of games.
Those statistics have staked the 28-year-old's claim to be considered Real Madrid's greatest player, according to Spanish newspaper AS.

 The former Manchester United winger scored his 21st career hat-trick during the 6-1 demolition of Galatasaray in Istanbul.

'Things could not have started better for us in this season's Champions League,' Ronaldo said.
'Scoring six goals is really good, it will give us a lot of confidence'
Having secured a new contract worth a mind boggling £288,000-per-week AFTER tax that is expected to keep him at the Bernabeu for the rest of his career, Ronaldo can now concentrate on helping the club win an elusive tenth Champions League title.
